it's fairly obvious that he's lying. Well, he could be telling the truth but I'm sure that's not the only picture of his viper..

from one standpoint: price, its not hard to own one, from another: status, people like them cuz they are cool, so he could be faking, or not, its really 50/50

just kelley blue booked it, and an early viper is worth 16,000 usd with 150,000 miles, 10,000 per year, most cars use 12k a year,

awesome car none-the-less

KBB in usually wrong about prices for specialty cars. My car has 27,000 miles on it. Most with that many miles go for around 35K www.autotrader.com will confirm that...............Hope that will solve some problems:)

I wasn't driving it.........just taking pictures. You can only drive it on perfect days. See the roof is useless, there are no outside door handles, there is no air-conditioning, and the windows aren't even glass (there plastic that you have to slide in to slots in the door). It's the furthest thing from an everyday car you can get. Its a real pure sports car......... a lot of fun but it's not for everyone.

Welcome to UCP. Great car in all its rawness :)

PS: It is always refreshing to see how many forums members jump on a post like your first one to get prove of ownership. Some problems in this respect have occurred in the past :D

Well i was being a bit ambiguous when I made the post, I think it is good that people give evidence of ownership when asked about it, but I agree with you that these requests are sometimes made in a rather insulting and improductive way.

The Enzo drives great in the snow lol. I would do the egg test thing on that but it has nothing to put the piece of paper through LOL.

Seriously, I have had the car for about 6 months now but I have put over 3000 miles on it. This is a lot for a viper. I really do love the car. I am one of those guys who had crappy cars all his life and finally got one of his dream cars. :)

There is a knob for air-conditioning but it doesn't have it. Some dealers put air in but wasn't factory installed until 1994.

As for anyone that had there doubts about me owning the car. All is forgiven.....you didn't know me. I hope in the future you will see I am a strait up type of guy.:)

Nice car, sorry for being somewhat harsh about the proof but I'm usually the first one to criticize these claims. However, I highly doubt that you own an enzo.

I highly Doubt that. I have already heard of a 96 GTS Viper on this board....and I am sure theres a lot more better than mine. But thanks for the compliment.

Never driven it in the snow just took it out for pics. It handles very good IMO in the dry (if your light on the gas:) )

Top car in my opinion. Please accept apologies on behalf of over zealous ownership police. It is a fact that we get clowns posting pictures of cars here claiming to own them and a Viper naturally attracts some suspicion. Nevertheless some time for the proof of ownership request to be satisfied should be given without unneccessary harrasment. Perhaps next time guys we may not be so hasty or cynical.
