What is a reasonable amount of miles for a 1997 Jaguar XK8? what are some problems i should be ware of? how much will these cost to fix/replace?

If you're already shopping around, why not look for a used 911? I've seen 1970's models on the internet giong for prices between 8 and 15 grand :)

Hmm.. 1970's 911 as a first car -> corner, oops, backwards, field.

Don't get a 1997 one - they're crap. The 2004 revised version is bad enough.

Get a 968 CS:
Its a Porsche
It isn't rear engined.
You can use it on track
Faster than an XK8
Cheaper than an XK8

ive ALWAYS wanted a 911, im just keeping my options open, but the 911 is always my top choice, right now im looking at a 194-1989 carrera 3.2
