Thanks, I knew it was Pesca, he occasionally runs classic cars as well but I'am sure you know that. I took the picture because of the car and later saw that he was there too. My wild guess for the signatures are Larrouse and Beltoise but you might want to test a few others before giving it away..

They seem to be all french, given the ELF sign on the helmet, so from left:
Pescarolo, Servoz-Gavin,Beltoise, Jaussaud, could have been on the occasion of the training for LeMans in 1967, where these four were entering chassis 620-02, fitted with a 4.7 litre Ford engine. (It's always helpful when you can read French and having the Dossier Matra-Sport Prototype, issued in April 2000 by La revue de L'Automobile historique)

(I am still in the process of renaming my scans, there are too many :D )

My pictures have largely been taken at historic races venues or exhibitions over the period 1987-2001. I am not a photographer (you could have seen that from the quality). I hardly take pictures of modern cars, unless they are special, like this one, the Le Mans winning Viper

as a regular visitor you may have come across quite a few already. If I tell you that many pics were taken at Historic Festivals organised by Coys you can have an idea what sort we are talking about. All in all about 1500 pics or so and it took some time before I had them all scanned.

Thanks for the Marzal, you know that picture was taken when Prince Rainier of Monaco re-opened the Monte Carlo racetrack in 1967. It is hardly making public appearences these days sitting in a museum in Italy.

The Flying Star is a one touring bodied model from around 1968 or so. I saw it once, but so poorly exhibitied that a proper picture was impossible.

Yeah it's the left one, to the right is an Espada.
Actually I just did some googling on the Flying Star, it was built in 1966 on the basis of a 400GT. It currently resides in France.
The Espada was the most successful front engined Lambo with more than 1200 built. You can get them second hand relatively cheap, but it will burn holes in your wallet due to maintenance and repair costs.

What you are looking at is probably a copy of the real Jota. This was a special version of the Miura, improved by the then Lambo test driver Bob Wallace to see what the racing potential of the Miura was. The boss decided that racing was not to take place, and after Wallace had used the car for private transport for a while, it was sold to an Italian industrialist. Someone than borrowed the car and crashed it causing the fuel tank to rupture and the car was burned to the ground. There were three or so replica's made, but these were far less developed than the original Jota.
