Watch this kid play Gran Turismo, I'm not saying this is really hard to do, but amazing for a 3-year old or whatever he is.

spi-ti-tout

Maybe, maybe not. You can never say. From the look of the child you can say he's Japanese. Today the Japanese are very far advanced in Technology. AND very far ahead of the Americans too. If they say a child nowadays is born with a mouse in hand in the U.S, what about in Japan then? Its not impossible.

I was thinking that, but his movement of the steering wheel matches the movement of the car.. and I wouldnt be surprised if the kid did this level for 2 hrs every day for a week either.

hmmm
that should be the all new gran turismo 4 japanese edition!!! yay!!!
u can see how he was 'purposely' hitting down those pylons? in one of the licenses i did in GT4 u have to hit 100 pylons to pass the exam, and its known as a coffeee break exam

but the most surprising part is, this japanese kid didnt just pass, he/she got gold!!!! O_O that means he/she got all pylons and made it under the shortest amount of time!!

SURE they hve their chips/mobos/PS and otherthings made elsewhere but essentially the main contenders are American..(NOTE: this proves taht the Japanese arent superior technology wise but only equal). another thing to consider is taht when comparing American Culture with Japanese Culture video games are a larger part of Japanese youth than in american youth which has alot of sports as their pass times..

And you say Japanese is a hard language? Well American is even harder, cause its English, but its not?!
Obviously you dont live in America and are talking like a generalizing Foreigner. why is Japanese Automotive technology better than American? bcuz they have the fastest 4cy. cars? sure they may have the fastest 4cy. but Americans have the fastest cars! fastest 1/4mile? -American
Fastest street car? Callaway Sledge Hammer 251/`MPH - American

Sushi may be more tasteful then Mc Donalds but thats why it costs more.

you obviously threw a bunch of pros for japan but you did it without keeping things in similar categories. To compare Japan and America is Impossible. and to say that one is more advanced then the other without giving realistic points is also wrong.

My closing comment is.. if America is as bad as the whole world puts it out to be then why do so many countries try to be like America? why is it that you drink americanized beverages and eat americanized food? and why is rap/hip hop culture spreading if like eveyone says "its all about hate and violence?"

Ill tell you why.. Bcuz America went through the struggle and came out ontop, bcuz we are liberal bastards that can afford to make 7.oL engines that create only 200hp and 600lb of torque. seriously we are how we are because when other people couldent afford to do things we still did them.

well, we have extremes. There's the couch potato that sits home all day and plays games but there's also the athletic type that goes out and has his/her fair share of sports.

unfortunately i think there are a lot of 'not-quite-couch-potatoes'
i'm sure most overweight americans don't like to be fat, but have difficulty finding the support they need to lose the weight.
i'm thankful my metabolism is as super-fast as it is :)

*cough cough* gaming technology? um ever heard of Microsoft? Xbox? Intel? Ibm? Dell? um apparently everyone has forgotten that todays major PC contenders are mostly American..
adn they don't build ANY of them !!
AND the designs of the chips in the mobos is mainly contracted out to lower cost design centres in asia :(
Dell does NO design AT ALL. They are NOT a technology developer they are just a VERY smart middle man. Even HP has now passed all it's design expertise into Intels hands. Microsoft and Xbox is all acquired technology and cheap manufacture !!

I think the point made is AVERAGE.
Sadly for every athlete each nation has another 100,000 "viewers" :(

Not everyone in the US is fat, but those generalizations coming from people around the globe are actually backed up by the AOA.

Overall Prevalence

"Approximately 127 million adults in the U.S. are overweight, 60 million obese, and 9 million severely obese."

That's more than half of the total population.

video games are not the reason why america is the FATTEST country in the world, if thats what you meant.if cost of life in America were as expensive as it is in Japan, then we sure as hell wouldent be as Fat as we are..how does that relate to what I said? if there is no relation why was my quote included in your post...

The main reason is that Americans are not getting enough exercise. All people have to do is go and shoot some baskets at the gym or run on a treadmill or just walk around town. It's really quite sad to see people who are gonna lose twenty years of their lifetime because they didn't get up to walk around the block when they were younger. Now they have diabetes or another obesity related diesease. It's starting to get worse then the tobacco problem... :(
