Unfortunately this won't be the end of a series of "Hey look I'm cool", but in act the opposite. Children in their daily lives are being exposed to different types of media, which affect their "learning" years when their brains are fresh very badly. Did anyone notice that its not only the television, but also music that is hiting hard on children these days. Particularly rap and such, where words offensive to little children are being used on almost every line. If the family has (a) teenage son(s), he might have been listening to music that might have been overheard by his/their younger sibling(s). The fact that in todays world more and more offenses are being held in "very developed and educated" societys than in the rest of the world is sad. Technology and modern Education has taken care of the familys paycheck but sadly nothing is being dont to insure the childrens rights who will then grow up to be a morally corrupt society. :(

^that makes sense, but other than music, how did they learn hat position to try? maybe that teenage sone was wanking it to some dirty videos or magazines, and thats how the kid learned

It is possible. This is exactly the kind of careless attitude that will get the future generations to come into serious trouble. Unfortunately, nobody's doing anything about it. :(

"...who officials said were caught trying to have sex Wednesday at an Eastside school."

That doesn't even make any sense.

What is "sex Wednesday"? a kinky position?

It should say:
"...who were caught trying to have sex at an Eastside school on Wednesday, officials said."

The general lack of ability in the English language from most American media sources really astounds me.

They are supposed to be trained journalists, but can't form a coherent sentance.
And of course if newspapers, websites and TV all "speak" like this, it will influence a lot of other people, as they'll think it is "correct".

Makes me think twice about having kids.
It shouldn't. The only reason these kids were misguided so badly was no doubt because of the carelessness of the parents, whatever the cause may be. As long as you take care of your kids, and help them grow in the right manner, theres no reason why they shouldnt grow up to be good respectable and obedient children and great citizens. :)

......and maybe contribute to UCP if they're grown up by then ;)

Ha OWNED :D

Frankly speaking, I'm not really too surprised. There isn't really a reason which people over there can think about on to WHY this shouldn't happen. So the result is, it happens. Forget the journalists, the main Goddamn cabinet of 1000 ministers and secretary's and etc etc and even the PRESIDENT HIMSELF is using language like this. "If they can use it, I can use it". Too bad theres this kind of attitude. People really should shape up their english. Soon this might be the next world "bomb/word infection" on the world, and that too straight from the preseidents mouth
