Harder Guess the Car

Most of the guess the car games seem to be getting less popular so i thought i would try a new type.

It goes like this

1) A part of a car is posted and peopel try and guess what car it is

2) after a while if noone has got it then another pic is posted of a different part.

3) carries on, with more and more of the car getting revealed until someone gets it.

edit: 4) oh and no clues just more pictures :)
so here we go

don't worry the pictures will be of different areas of the car. these two just happened to be close together. and if people get it too quick then i'll make the small sections from different pictures, that should toughen it up!

The problem is that the parts you post are really, really small.

Again thats part of the appeal, but its also part of the problem.

well sometimes people seem to get it from a seemingly innocuous part wheras other times it takes ages before anyone guesses it. i thought that making it hard would appeal to people more than having an easy part that was answered at the first guess thereby not allowing more people to play the game.

However on the basis of your suggestion i will try something different with the next part/car once people have had their chance with this new part.

when you posted the 1st pic, I knew it was a SUV or something like this. I've seen this thing before but I couldn't remember which car it was.
Then I recognized the second pic as a gullwing-door: and I think there's only one SUV with gullwings (esp. at Geneva)

But seriously was it really impossible without a hint? I mean the first pic is small but you can see that the upper part of the door is a different colour. And this "stripe" is like a trademark in Maybach, wouldn't you agree?
