Hey,
My names Mike, I live in L.A and I drive an M3. Just thought I would introduce myself, I've been reading the posts and this looks like an awesome community. I'm looking forward to meeting lots of you.

Welcome to both of you!! :) I hope you enjoy your time on UCP!! ///MIKE could you please take the Egg Nogg proof of ownership test? Just take a piece of paper with your UCP user name, place it on your shifter, take a pic and post it. It's a little thing we do to prove we drive what we say we do :)

Thanks for the welcome guys. As for the custom pic, my car is currently in a shop right now recieving some minor adjustmints, but I will be sure to take it as soon as I get it back (5-6 days). Here are a couple pics until then.

Your IP is from Canada therefore I doubt that M3 with Cali license plate is yours.
996gt3 has your IP and he's supposed to be from Florida, which leads me to think even more that this is total BS.

I guess I have some explaining to do, I am located on a part time basis in Toronto, Ontario, Canada due to work. My permanent location is in Florida. I don't know why you feel like performing investigations on new members, but I guess we all have a little Sherlok Holmes in us? Sorry for the mixup!

It's not a Sherlok Holmes thing is just a "Tired of BS in forums" thing. We've had guys claiming to own Skylines, CGTs, Clios, etc.... And it's pretty annoying when the truth comes out (Although sometimes it can be fun)
The car can be yours, it could definitely be possible (But I sure am waiting for some proof of ownership) ........ But why 2 accounts and play 2 different guys?

okay I guess I should come out in the open. I created 2 different accounts. I did this because I thought I would get treated differently if I had a good car. I know it was wrong, but I just wanted to start off on a good foot, but I guess it backfired. Please accept my apoligy. I really drive a 2004 Chevy Astro van.

Mike no worries.... Here we respect people for who they are and not what they drive.
Why Titanboy's IP though? I sure hope it's not you... You've gained respect in here with your posts and with those great pics taken by yourself.
If it is you then let it die right now before things get worse, we'll all forget it.
According to Titan, his brother has a separate computer in their home. Since they both connect through a router, the same IP would show up no matter which computer the post came from. Titan says that was him as his normal username, but his brother is Mike and 996Gt3. He checked his brother's computer and UCP is in today's history. His brother has never been a member here previously. I say we go ahead and ban the Mike account and un-ban the Titan account...

Okay, this whole experience has made me realize how much I like it here at UCP. This morning I told my brother about the picture comp here, I think he made the accounts in order to vote for me so I would win. In the comp I am currently winning, but upon the final results of the comp please take away 1 vote from my total. I am verry sorry for all of this, and I really appriciate the efforts of Matt and SPHferrari in this matter.

For long-time members, the rules are the same. You are not to have more than one account. When Karrmann made his poop accounts and start spamming, he was banned. 3 days, I think. Wouter was advocating for a permanent ban and has since still expressed his opinion that it should have been a permanent ban. When a brand new person shows up and makes multiple accounts, they are to be treated like any other person who shows up and immediately starts breaking other rules. Permanent ban.
