they have a tuner now that pushes it from a measly 225 hp to 550

250 units was built in a limited production run.

Why?
Why would anyone buy Audi TT in a Beetle clothing that costs more than Porsche Boxter S?
That is vastly inferior to drive than TT or Boxter?
That looks like a ... hmmm... 911 on steroids?

Volkswagen claimed that rear spoiler generates a positive 77 kg downforce at 260 kph. However, problem is that top speed of RSi is 225 kph! :D :D (figure also claimed by VW)

There were 250 street going cars (all silver), the blue prototype (there are two pics above) and around 40 racing cars.
