This is my second diecast rebuild...I hope you don't mind.

It didn't turn out as good as the Z4 I did but it could have if I was willing to put more time into it....I did a very minimal rebuild.

The model is made by Welly and it's 1/24 scale. I painted it Tamiya TS55 Dark Blue and cleared it, then polished. The interior is a combo of Acryl Sloth Brown with a lttle dark red mixied in, and Dragon Black. The alum accents are Acryl Silver.

The wheels are Fujimi OZ Nova's which I painted with Testors Silver lacquer in the bottle, the brakes are from a Aoshima kit, I think.

nothing but good about the quality of the work, but for heavens sake why this hideous one as a subject. :)

If your hairdresser drove a New Beetle I could understand your comment.
;)

I like the Auto Union design heritage in the TT. I may have to buy a good used one some day as a second or third car.

Actually I was tempted to repeat a comment that I made earlier elsewhere on the forum, that the TT is just a New Beetle, put under pressure, or having been ironed at a too high temperature :D
