Hi guys,
In this thread, I'm to present to you my radio controlled car.
I practice in a club near Paris in indoor (the Racing Club d'Argenteuil);we're 50 members and we drive on sunday (10 o'clock to 18 o'clock).
So my car is a Tamiya F103 RS ( since I have a narrow chassis plate), there are the specs of the car:
Chassis Type: F103LM TRF
Scale: 1/10
Overall Length: 360mm
Overall Width: 204mm
Minimum Clearance: 5mm
Weight Fully Equipped: 1170g
Wheelbase: 256.5mm
Tread (front/rear): 174mm/160mm
Chassis Material: 2.5tCFRP
Chassis Type: Double deck type
Steering Tie Rods: two of equal length.
Suspension (front/rear): Link type/Ball mounted Rigid Axle T-Bar
Castor Angle (front/rear): 4º/0º
Camber Angle (front/rear): variable/0º
Toe Angle (front/rear): variable/0º
Rear Dampers: Adjustable friction dampers and pitching oil damper.
Drive Train: Sidewinder/Direct Drive
Gear Ratio: 2.52:1
Diff. Gear (rear): Ball Diff
Control System: electronic speed control
Tire Width (front/rear): 30/45
Tire Diameter (front/rear): 56/58
Tread Pattern (front&rear): Reinforced Slicks Type-A
In order to improve the performance of the car I put options parts:
*ball bearing set
*turnbuckles tie-rod
*carbon kevlar chassis plate (from peugeot sport :D )
*height adjustable gear case with the the aluminum motor mount
*sponge tyre set
*23 T motor (not recognize officially by EFRA)
To conclude: a great car which is very fast without needed expensive parts or batteries, motors ....the maximal speed is over 80 km/h , that's to say more than many fuel cars.
I wait your posts and your opinion about it , thanks to all the UCP users.
Vincent
