dude, i wasnt ment to lassoo the windows. If i forgot to lassoo them then how come it has a black surround? It is just a tint following the car colour.

here's my entry....it's a Dodge Caliber Daytona...i put that daytona decal at the back, the R/T logo on the grille...added a spoiler...lowered the suspension...magnum rims, etc.

The color change is a little "thick". The body/panel lines are no longer dark enough and the reflections and depth of the paint are almost entirely gone. The text on the hood seems... off... I don't know, exactly what angle the text is supposed to be at, but it looks kind of akward. When putting text on a surface like that, you really have to think about how much it would be stretched, skewed, etc. With the angle the photo is taken at, the surface the text is on is pretty close to horizontal and parallel to the ground. So, the text should be as well. To give you an idea of what I mean, take a look at the "9" on the hood of this DBR9 I made a while back: http://www.severdesign.com/images/gallery_various/dbr9_e_race.jpg

The "HEMI" text should be similarly "flat". The "DAYTONA" text also doesn't seem QUITE right, but it's closer. Also, the black on the hood is a little too dark and reflectionless. Even if it is flat/low gloss paint (which I believe it normally is on Daytonas), it would still have some variation across it and reflect some light. The black on the Daytona stripe looks better.

Other than that, it looks pretty good. Hope this helps some.

I was basically going for a Dodge version of the Pajero Evolution for the Dakar. Which makes sense considering their relationship and Mitsubishi's expected "pull-out" of the American market which will lead to Mitsu's being rebadged as Dodge's (once again).

A hell of alot... so here are some of the less obvious...
Side window reshaped
Roof chopped and reshaped
rear over-fender area raised and reshaped
Rear overhang shortened and reshaped
Fenders flared
Mirrors shortened
Front fender exit "scoop"
C-pillar scoop
350Z door handle in b-pillar
Fuel filler cap in c-pillar
Interior reworked (rear seats removed, racing seats added)
Grill reworked (shortened, darkened, badge removed)
Race parts (emergency shut-off switches, hood pins, tow hook, etc)
Slight color change (more red added)

Most of the addons (exhaust, side sill "vents", skidplate, wing, etc.) are brushed.

Well damn. I hate discourage others from entering. Honestly I probably won't have time to enter contests regularly anyway... I don't like to "display" anything I don't put quite alot of work into. I'm not really "entering to win", I just enjoy making them and furthering my abilities. I hope others feel the same way.
