I would disagree with some choices. But then again, there are few BMW M's I ever drove. So I must believe in him. Why can't I make that test and choose by myself?

M1 would be my winner, hope BMW will not dare to introduce the new 1-series with an M1 top model

I know what SHOULD have won. The slow-shifting one. :)

Fortunately it had only 4 gears

It has a slow chance so you can have time to enjoy the process, since you won't be shifting many times until top speed. :)
And after all, a light car with a such a nice 3.0 engine won't need many shifts.

Where's the new M5 and M6? The new M6 would be my winner.

I would be struck between the E28 M5, the M635CSi and the M1. I suppose this test is based on the track so, yeah, the M3 CSL is a sure winner.
