Rules:
The proposed picture must be your own and not found on the net.
Only the photographs taken the month in progress and the past month are accepted.
Only one photograph per person and weekly contest allowed; you may not change your photograph once it has been entered.
There are 5 days to submit your photograph, a poll will be created after 5 days for people to vote on.
Your image must be a resolution of 800*600 or lower. If it is not, your picture will not be in the voting thread.
Each photographer cannot vote for him, they must vote for the others
The picture should get submitted with: the name of the car, where it was taken or at what event, and the date and the type of camera.

If he would now change the date would somebody object? Anyway we can never check whether the stated dates are correct :)

yes you can. if the picture is posted unaltered straight from the camera, windows xp reads the info that is included in the image and one of the things that it states is the date that it was taken.
the audi a6 image was taken on 3/4/05 according to windows xp.

not with the LeicaM3 I sometimes use. That is a spy camera :)

I think that angle was been WAY over-used, but you definitely pulled it off very well. Good job.

Personally I dont think that an angle can ever be over-used. I for one get ground shots of the cars at all angles and run through a checklist of angles that I try to get because I find them to be best for capturing the details of the car and the details of the surroundings. I guess that it all depends on how the routines on photographing a subject vary from photographer to photographer.

But you can't do it everywhere. If I tried that angle at the detroit auto show I'd get squashed, and the people at a car dealership would think I'm pretty weird if I lied down to get a shot. :)

you crouch down not lie down. I do that at car dealers and on the street so i dont really care what they think.. if they say something you tell them its for a picture and theyll understand..

i dont have to lay down at all :P .... i can rotate my display so kneeling down is enough :)
