I think the '68 boss mustang is the best looking mustang ever, it's just so mean, it has that "i dont take crap from anyone" - look. Now thats a car. :)

ofcourse the '68 stang is better, the 60's mustangs are some of the most memorable cars in history, they cant be compared with later models :)

1969 429 boss, the 429 boss was made for use in nascar, so you know its gotta have some grunt to it. I think the 302 boss was the only one available in 1968, 429 came later.

I think Mustang's golden years were definitly over 1970 and after. The 65-69 Mustangs were just amazing. Any in that range of years, I would most likely pick over quite a few other things.

Both of those pics were posted in hi-res in the hide-out about 2 weeks ago. You could have easily found them right here. :)

I'm not much of a 70's mustang enthusiast either

The 68 Boss mustang and 68 camaro are both my favourite muscle cars. They are just so mean looking!

which one do you like?
Where's the "both" option?

But if I had to pick one, it would definetly be the boss. I mean, it's the boss!! :)

ummmm I'm sure I don't carry a lot of clout around here but, I feel it's my duty to inform you all that there were no BOSS mustangs produced before 1969. Also Production of BOSS 429's and BOSS 302's ended with the close of the 1970 model year leaving just the BOSS 351 I believe... If I'm wrong about this information...someone please correct me and point me to a source for 1968 BOSS's, I'd sure like to know if they DO exist! :D

yep..mustang 2's are total piles of crap...and im a hardcore mustang fan! i have to say tho the 69 boss is one of my favorite cars of all time. 69 mustangs were the best looking year. those dual headlights just looked mean.

stickshift...your right the boss came out in 1969. the 302 was in the 69's and 70's and then they switched over to the 351 cleveland for 71 and that was the end of the boss. theres no such thing as a 68 boss.

Agreed 110%. :)

I think after 1970, there was not one Mustang I liked.

I happen to like the 69 (that's right guys, it's actually a '69, not a '68, it was completely redesigned, restyled, and made bigger for the big blocks for '69) better, but only because '69's are my favorite Mustangs period. I happen to like the II, they're different, and highly underrated. Small and light, they are nimble cars that have far more potential than current emissions laws (and people's personal preferences) allow.
