I'd have to say just about any M3. Not burined in technology like some BMW's, and it looks nice, and performs nice.

All the M series cars, how can you not love em'?

Depends. In a performance perspective I don't like how the M5 nearly drives itself. I think having a few driving aids for something like that is ok.........but the M5 just has a few too many for me. I do have to admit though, if you are driving it as a daily driver + a crapload of luxury, and you want to get ahead of someone (for example) quickly, it will get you there alot faster then most! It's just for track that the number of computers and all on the M5 that I just find......impurifying of the experiance.

The 507.

I also really like the previous 7-series. We had two of them and they were easily the best BMWs our family has owned.

Ehm... I know my views maybe slight unpopular but I really think new BMW are great. I think Z4 is really cool, although it's more of a womans car. The M6 looks fantastic, has more powerful look than the m5. But I think 7 is most impresive. It looks so strong.

The M6 has the same engine as the M5, and is not more powerful.

The M3 CSL.. You don't hear me complaining if you got me a regular M3 though.. ;)

The new 3-series looks cool IMO..

The current 7-series before it got restyled..

Any other Bimmer would be great.. Except the Z3 offcourse..

I'll happily take a Mercedes SL 65.

The original M3 - back when BTCC race cars looked identical to their road going counterparts.

M3 CSL - the later one

M5 - E39 (? the second most recent one)

M5 E60 although I wouldn't buy one I don't think

I also saw an M6 on the road for the first time the other day - looking flippin brilliant.

Think it's quite obvious that I prefer the E30.
All the oldschool BMW's are favourites cars of me, but the E30 is just one of the most perfect cars to drive every day. I probably would go for a full option 325i for every day use, just as a collection car, for once and a while driving, the M3 offcourse.

As a little kiddie I used to lust after the BMW Z1.

Now as a fully grown kiddie I have a bit of a crush on the Z4 M Coupe. If they ever do a CSL version of that then I think it'll be my perfect BMW. :)

MRR

E39 M5. Comfortable, fast, V8, 6-speed and in my opinion simple, and good looking (not to "look at me"). I hate the new bangle models though which represents the decline of a great company (maybe with the next generation of cars they can take a step back like Porsche).

Girlfriend's brother has a 2004 (I think) M-something for a company car. It's 3-series size, two doors. Drove it once. Fun. We were in The Alps in the snow - traction control on - no worries! Just drive! :D :D
