Something this fat and unaerodynamic doesn't deserve to get to 60mph in 8.5 secs, but this does.

Hold the record for largest bonnet bulges on a production car.

With the engine from a Countach, no great surprise the aero and weight added 3+ seconds to the 0-60 :D

Yeah... and about 75 mph was lopped off the top speed... ouch!

This thing could get owned by a Ford Mondeo ST24 :p

And a Ford Mondeo will get stuck, a LM002 on the other hand won't :D

Just another beautiful and utterly mad piece engineering from Lamborghini.

That's why America refused to show any interest and even the Italian forces decided against it. If it wasnt' for soem rich Arab state buying them for their use it woudl ahve been still-born :)

HEAR HEAR!

Ugly as sin. And fat. I'd rather take a Hummer H2, and that's one hell of an insult from me :p

Just tell me- how often do the chicks in Jeeps and Mercedes ML's ever go off road? (Answer... never... I expect the same goes for you...)

The LM002 is likely to get stuck in the tarmac from it's obesity problem that is worse than George Best's drinking problem.

Okay it is fat and it is a gas guzzler, but it has style because it is outrages. I'm not a 4x4 SUV freak. I actually hate them. But this LM002 is so extreme, that’s why i like it :o

It was used by some of those Arab armies.. I'd like to go to the army and drive a Lambo. This probably was the inspiration the the Humvee, but million times better (after all, it is a Lambo.. )

And you could race with it :D

I love LM002's for some unkown reason, it's just so odd and unexpected, granted Lamborghini started off with tra'ors... But apparently it's difficult for a tall person to drive, but to hell with that, the Mr. Bean approach to driving FTW!

So many yuppies would buy one of these if it were an automatic. Thank god they didn't come with automatics.

You like one for the same reason you like Cayennes...

I hate the Cayenne yet I'd love one of these beasts, but only if I lived in a true off-road area. If I could afford it and there was a Lamborghini dealership in Pakistan, I'd take one there like we did the Hilux.

But why do you need a +400bhp V12 in your off roader, when anyway you won't be able to enjoy it on the road? A second-hand Countach and a Defender is a much better bet in my opinion.

Why not have a V12 off-roader? If it does the job off-road, a V12 is fine for me. Plus a Countach on roads in Pakistan isn't the best idea. You need a raised ride-height just to take to normal roads there. Also, living in a village, as we do, an off-roader is a must.

I see your point, but I still don't like it or would buy one.

I saw one of these on the streets of NYC once. I definitely didn't have a camera on me, but I knew it was a brash, red Lamborghini SUV. It had to be the LM002.
