Esperante

I just got it yesterday. That's right, it's AutoArt's Panoz Esperante GTR01 Street Type. And God I love it. I'll give you some history...
The Panoz name has more to do than jsut cars, whether it be the creator of the time release pill or a 20's boxing legend, the Panoz Auto Developement company had much money to be backed with. When Don Panoz bought the Thompson Motor Company in Ireland and relocated it to Hoschton, GA, he had plans to build a Le Mans car. However, rules specified that in order to run Le Mans, a production type must also be made. So, only 2 of these real cars were ever built, 1 sold for $800,000, the other in display at the company's HQ. It is simply the race version with a detuned engine and a finshed interior and a chameleon paintjob. The first car sold was Gold, the second in this 'Ocean Extreme'-quite possibly the most beautiful colour I've ever seen (goes from blue to green to purple). Wow-this model is fantastic! I've got plenty pix....
