Hello Every One Yet Another Newbey Hear,
For a few weeks now i had been searching for a electronic flipper licence plate i came across this company called [ -Removed- Christ I hate spammers!] Where i purchased a device off of them its a great bit of kit, it took about 15min to fit it to my car you dont have to do any electrical wireing because speedflip has its own power supply, once its fitted you flick a switch and speedflip flips open and a buzzer sounds telling you that your plate is in the open position, flick switch again and it flip back up and buzzer stops, there is a motorcycle version too which is even simpler to fit, i just like me gagets.

why dont you just run a bit of fishing line up over the car and into the weather strip. When you want it up just tie it off to the granny handle. when you want it down untie it. :P

Lol good point, and you could nick the fishing line from a mate making the device free!

Oh its illegal alright. See the disclaimer at the bottom "not recommending it for road use. For use off road and in shows". Yeah right, thats why they developed it. Wouldnt mind one all the same. :)

I don't mean to disagree, but I think these plates are good for Ferrari's if you want to have your license number on the front of your car too, since no matter how hard you try, you'll disrupt the aerodynamic of the car if you try to have a steady license plate at the front of the Ferrari.

Then don't have a plate at the front of the Ferrari, have it in the glove box. If you get stopped by the police say it just fell of and you are going to stick it back on soon. Thats what all the Elise boys do in this country.

and so how does sticking a plate, plus a metal box help? as suka said, you just carry it with you, and make sure you tape it on when u go for inspection. one of the local lamborghiin owners duct taped his front plate for his state inspection.

fu*king hell, its a little tiny rectangle of metal.

whats that do to the areodynamics?!? it wouldnt slow you down anything at all. and sure it mightnt look all that "coherent" but hell id rather have a properly secured front plate then 550 buck fine.

it is just because it looks like crap with them on the front there.

id rather it be there and me avoiding a fine then it not being there and me getting one.

though if i could afford a ferrari im sure i would be able to pay the fines.
