a Porsche Carrera GT

The Carrera GT sounds just like and F1 car :)

because the V10 started out as a le mans project and then was cleared to make room for the cayenne

Actually it started out as a Lemans engine, Due to rule change the couldnt use the car. And the didnt want to change the vehicle. So the scratched it, Then the descided to throw the sucker into the Carrera GT.

I could be wrong, but im pretty sure this is what happened.
