Is it just me or does that frontend look a lot like VW/Audi?

Autocar magazine arrived today and it had a great solution to the MGR problem. It involved getting rid of the saloon car range, buiding the MG GT and new TF replacment and building a new Austin Healey ( ) .. we can wish :)

Of course you all instantly accuse them of copying the VAG corperate grille.

It couldn't be anything to do with the big upright grille of Rover's last V8 engined coupe, the P5B... or could it?

Haven't they brought that 75 out just recently (as in about a year or so ago)? Shame MG Rover are going bust but they may come back again in 50 or so years as an exclusive supercar company revived by a huge car giant *hopes*
