This actually gave me quite a jump. I've been reading up on my new car crush, the Holden HSV, have been playing it in NFS HP2, and I turn around and- HOLY SHIT IT'S IN MY BACKYARD! Then I realize that, since Americans are lazy bastards who have to steal everything that is nice, this is a GTO. It was quite a freak for me-I went to get a drinnk and, honest to God, I just stopped and saw it there. It really felt weird...

Only reason I don't have better pix is because it's 30 fvking degrees here in Hell's Kitchen.

seeing as though the owner bothered to change bonnet, you should tell them to import a HSV body kit and grille and ditch the shitty pontiac one, and put holden badges on it like it should have

Thats what it came stock the first year of production. And you can get a hood scoop delete.

Yeah, all 04 GTO's were basically Monaro's with the engine tweaks, front bumper and the rear spoiler added.

it seems higher than a monaro- wheels may be too small
damn that pontiac grille is fugly. now i know what GTO fans are complaining about, i didn't really notice that stuff before

The suspensions a softer tune than the basic Monaro, so maybe that included about 10mm extra ride height or something, they did come with 17' rims as opposed to the Monaro's 18's as well

bigger wheels would definitely help :) but the pontiac grille changes the whole front aspect of the car somehow. it looks ok, just not - great
