Enzo Colors - Serial Number!!

The colors of the Enzo:

There 3 colors that Ferrari are offering..

Rosso Corsa (red)
Giallo Modena (yellow)
Nero (black)

But some owners wanted it another color..so what I'v seen theres..

- Rosso Dino (orange)
- Bianco (white)
- Rosso Scuderia (red)
- Argento Nürb (grey)
- blue TDF (blue Tour de France)

The Dark Blue looks fairly good on the lines of that car, but the Orange one just looks like bad photoshop job. :) It's all vague and fuzzy around the edges...quite obviously a Hue/Saturation job ;)

Of all Enzo's colors, I prefer the Black and the Yellow.
I don't like the Red in Ferrari Enzo.

Is Rosso Scuderia the red color like on the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team? I would really like to see that...

aha what IS Ferrari red today ?
The F1 team changed to meet their sponsors needs.
It'll go the way of British Racing Green, in 20 years time no-one will be sure what colour of red it was !!

Now see, you've put your sarcastic face on and nobody knows if you're joking or this is truthful.
Me ? I'm intrigued to know the srouce of that if it is reportedly true. As the minimum weight is specified in the WRC regs and the additional weight of paint above the CoG is about the equivalent of the driver blowing his/her nose !!

I have no idea WHERE I read this but it is true....

they used a non- marlboro color red for the car to save weight, also they didn't use chrome tags but stickers for the same reason

Not been made of chrome for the past 20 years, they're plastic.
Stickers might make sense from cleaning the car and avoiding mechanics snagging them.
I think someone's made up a good story and stuck it out there to see who they can hook.
In automotive, one colour of paitn weighs the same as another - good try.
This is a CAR, not a plane !!

Point was that plastic weighs next to nothing anyway :)

I checked the MMPS web site - someone has to get the facts - and their is NO mention of any 'innovation' over chrome or paint.
Looking at the photos the only 'chrome' bit looks to be the Mitsibushi logo on the front.
I know these are pressed into the front panel as I've seen construction pictures of the car
during WRC coverage - again where there was no mention of paint.

It's been an excellent lure :) lets just let them land the dead fish now :)

BTW, found this SUPERB picture and the question is ...
what's with the "Scotland" across the front of the original Lancer ?
Andy Cowan was the driver (Scottish) but was the team Scottish too ??

The orange is not orange it is just poor colours on the phot showing a red colour.
The correct Ferrari Red colour is Rosso Corsa DS 322.
The Scuderia Rosso - (not Rosso dino or the like) is the Italian National Motorsports colour like the British Racing green in England.

The Enzo is offered in any colour - following is standard colours:
Rosso Corsa
Tour de France blue - metallic blue
Blu Pozzi - dark blue
Giallo Modena - Yellow
Nero - Black
Argento Nurburging - Silver
Nuovo Nero Daytona - Metallic black
Rosso Scuderia - Racing red

Then there are the non standard colours which are the same avaiable for 575M, 612 & 360 among other the White.

And for extra payment you can even mix your own colour on a piece of paper and have the car painted in that colour if you like.
How about a purple metallic? Anyone got Photoshop...

And just to set records completely clear, the real Ferrari colour is Giallo Modena - Yellow,as a tribute to Modena City, who´s colour is also Yellow (hence the name Giallo Modena)
