This is the Nichimo kit that I'm building box stock except for changing the wheels to some racy looking Watanabe's.

This kit only has a simulated engine mold, decent interior and nice body though.

Still in the process of polishing the paint.

Stick with the BBS-a-likes they suit the lines of the car very well.

Nice, very nice. I'm sure it'll go real fast with that red paint. :D

Do you get your spare rims from other kits, or can you buy rims?

Nice. But I'm not liking the new wheels.

I've decided to go with the BBS type but the spokes will be black.

It's an Italeri body I was converting to the LM car, but now I'll probably get the Hiro/Climax reissue resin kit.

there is a Protar kit of the original LM car (the French one that came second overall). The kit has its flaws, but wheels are excellent.

But you're thinking GTO, I was making the 275 GTB LM. Which is essentially a 275 with a GTO front end, but a lot more to it than that really. The 275 LM shares hardly any dimension with the stock 275.

Yes, Hiro acquired all the old but great Climax molds.

What else can we expect then? I never saw any Climax models, are these resin or plastic?

These are resin kits which were rare and expensive in the early 90's. Also included was a full detail DB4GT Zagato.

yes I saw those GTO's on the hiro website, a bit too expensive to my liking, but a DB4Zagato would indeed be unique.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I notice you've got a nice Panoz Esperante GTR-1 back there. ;)

No, it's a 1/24 scale resin model kit by Sakatsu.

Yeah, they aren't available anymore, it was a $160 kit. Short runs are common with resin kits.
