I dont know how to open the top of the convertible cars can somebody help me??
I started to play it 6 hours ago and now I am living in it.

but in license tests you can drive a mx-5 with open top

there is an option under the settings menu. Same place were you edit gear ratios and tires.

You cant race with the top down because the model of the driver takes up too much memory so there would not be any memory left to process other cars on the circuit .. which is why you cant race the Caterham and other topless cars.

You can drive with the top down ONLY IN TESTING MODE SUCH AS ARCADE OR TIME TRIALS and so on. You cant when you race against the computers since the PS2 cant handle it and if you try to hack into the PS2 and force it to then you PS2 will blow up! .......whats this bottle of corona doing next to me?

Now, i looked everywhere but cant find any buttons that open the top but when i entered the race in the place with the narrow streets that cote amalfi or something like that, the car was topless BUT, there was only one opponent

no i was just curious about that because in the official site it says you can race with topless cars...

man I raced with topless in gran turismo mode and wasn't testing. I was racing in a special event
