When do these images date from ?
It looks like some of the early work on the Fiat X1/9 and I wondered if it's a precursor to the deicision to make a small sportscar or if they considered making a bigger brother under the Ferrari name at the same time or afterwards.
X1/9 was an excellent package ruined by rust :(
Just wondering ......
that car looks like it could float

I've liked some Bertone designed cars, but mostly they look like the designers were limited to 45 & 90 degree angles, and not allowed many radiuses ... much like the Volvo designers of the 70's and 80's.

hmm I heard of the Rainbow.
It's on my 50 years of Ferrari DVD. It has a top that can be folded behind the seat. apparently if it had been produced slighty later on it would of been a success with its boxy looks in the 80's :)

Ahhh, so many great Italian cars, (and an even larger number of c**p ones) crumbling away before your very eyes! :D
Maybe they were trying to get in on the whole Eco thing with biodegradable cars :D
The Ferrari is not exactly beautiful, more... Interesting. :)

An interesting fact about this car:
You could actually have it made for you by bertone for a price which escapes me, i think only about 5 or 6 were ever made, i think it looks quite nice actually, i always needed to slice pedestrians legs off using the front bumper.....
Ferrari were always interesting, now they have to try and be different.

I remember a poster in a car mag of this thing when I was in high school, about 100 years ago.

Somewhat reminds me of both the Fiat X1/9 and the Original Toyota MR2...

I remember playing a lot with a miniature of that same model. It would have made a good "what is it?". :)

The rear end looks somewhat like a fiero. And i don't relly like the rear wheel well. Other than that looks like a good car.
