mp3 editing

hi,

i downloaded some cd's in mp3 which are made in a strange way.All the tracks are just sticked after eachother into one long track.i really hatre this kind of thing, and was trying to find a way to cut them into seperate tracks.I didn't succeed... does anyone know how to do this ???

I use a program called Sound Forge for that kind of thing. It came free with my computer, and does just what you need it to.

you could try and split it up by using creative recorder. thats what i use to split up long wav's or mp3's. you have to play the mp3 on your normal media player and record it on creative recorder. this saves it as a wav which you can then convert.
