Thx for the votes guys, some real great pics this week. The theme will be Rally cars on a rally track. BTW, I know I'm talking in third person.

Congratulations, your pic seemed to be quite superior, looking at the votes.

BTW, I know I'm talking in third person. Now the rest of us must take better pictures to stop that. :p

Rally tracks meaning dirt only, or snow and ice too? Are City di Aria and Costa di Amalfi considered a rally track? Are only the true WRC and Group B cars allowed, or anything with snow/ice/dirt tires?

Yay Rally :)

Sorry for not specifying that Quiggs. Yes, the track has to be considered a rally track, with the picture showing that the car is on dirt/ice/snow or at least in the air over the dirt, ice, or snow. Only true WRC/Group B allowed as well. It'd take the fun out of it if you just slapped dirt tires on the Elise or something. (Cars like the Escudo allowed too)

:( Guess that means my dorifto Viper on ice doesn't count... Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. :) BTW if you think 550hp is hard to control on the street, try it on snow...

Mine will be here in an hour or two. Still seems quite quiet. Hopefully it's just because of the theme or something, not because there's no interest.

Edit: here's mine.

So jorismo, what is it in my pic that you think is against the rules?

It was taken in GT4 and has not been edited outside GT4.
It's 800x600 in resolution.
And there's a group B car on a dirt track in it.

But if there really is something, then I would really like to know it asap, because it's getting quite late, and I myself really can't find anything in the pic that would break the rules.

So why dont you?

So why dont you?
Why don't I what? Or are you asking them why don't they use a higher speed?? My guess would be DORRIFIFIFFFFITTOOOTOTO action.

Quiggs

So why dont you?
It gives the picture a sense of speed. I took 4 shots of my final picture using different depths of focus, and different film "speeds" from 1/800 to the standard 1/250. They all had a different feel.

Also the background in the game isn't always very pretty and the blurryness hides some of the ugly lines etc. I'd remember to have used 1/400 shutter speed, tried with 1/200 and 1/800, but liked that the most.

Meh, it's ok.
