After having been deprived of any modelling opportunities since the beginning of this year, I am about to restart again soon. The main reason for the break was some refurbishment and reconstruction of the attic which changed my cramped den into an airy place which can be ventilated during the summertime to prevent the dreaded sweaty fingers on your just completed smooth bodywork. Light of course now also comes in from the right side (the north).
Two pics showing the old and the new situation

comforting thought, haven't yet decided on my first project, got the SMS sets for the F2002 and the 935. Probably have to start with something easy to get back in the groove

His desk may look alright, but the rest of the house is a complete mess.

lots of suffering going on, people who are jealous that it is not their room that got improved and so on and so forth.
The attic is used as a guest room, hence the bed.

Congrats henk, look great! The trees outside the window give it a peacefull atmosphere. I think it's important to have a room just for yourself. Looking forward to pics of your future models :)

only pigeons which we are not allowed to shoot down, in spite of their "singing" being an utter nuisance

Henk how do you work with the glue smell?
Can you drain it away somehow?

you will find it amazing how little time you actually have to spend on gluing parts, most of the work is in the preparation and the painting of the parts, and a significant amount of parts (chrome/glass) will be attached using white glue. (but the windows open :) )
For my spraying I use a separate room (formerly a dark room during my "black and white" period. It will be fitted next week with a new window and a fan to remove the paint dust. Of course I am wearing a mask.
