In the window where you enter your reply, there is an icon that looks like the MS picture one - it's the yellow one.
Click it and it will insert the IMG tag, then enter the url for the image and finally click the picture icon again to insert the IMG end tag.
There you go, easy :)

You need to link to a file that is already on the internet, you linked to a local file. Posting the images as an attachment is the preferred method though, it doesn't bother the visitors as much as inline images do.

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Firas/My%20Documents/hail.gifIf you use the "preview post" button it will let you see how it looks.
EXCEPT in this case the 'url' you gave is of a local file and thus is NOT universal. Hope you've got the hang of it now.

It's OK, you're nearly there.
Are you using the icons to define the image ?
The first time you press it it puts in the text, the second time it puts . If it can't find the second closing tag it won't show the image. That's all that was wrong...

( NOTE: they've been smart enough to stop us grabbing the ir images )

It's a 'dumb' icon and it's easy ot get it out of sync with what you need.
Always check that the tag is normal and the closing tag has a '/' in it and it'll all be OK.

You had [/IMG]http://forums.thecarfanatics.com/up...-1074989200.gif[IMG]
it needs {IMG]http://forums.thecarfanatics.com/uploads/post-26-1074989200.gif{/IMG]

I'm also not sure where you got the image url from as it wasn't the full url - again the 2 exampes above show the differences.
( except to get that to print I replaced [ brackets with { )
