That was just a brain teaser.
What car would you buy and mod, if you wanted to, with 200K dollars (or the equivalent in your country's currency)?

i think i could still do the corvette witha MB V12 in it for 200k so i'd do that

you need to be more reasonable....you could easily mod out just about any car for 200k....

now, say 30k or even 20K TOTAL and you've got a challenge...what would give you the most bang for your buck?

That being said, I'd take an audi ur-quat and turn it into an s1.

With 30K I could mod a Civic, but in the end it would still be a Civic only. So it wouldn't be that fun. :(

With those sweet 200K, I'd go crazy over an M3. Maybe I could even swap engines with the M5. :D

id buy a Ford GT and not modify it at all, its such a great car and "only" 150K

I don't hate the Ford GT but i hear that it is missing a "mechanical soul"

I would buy a Mitsubishi Lanzer Evo VIII and modify it....... i have read about a swedish guy, who build a Evo with about 700 hk for just about 200k.... 0-62 Mph= 2,8 sek and a fuel-economy= 1 litre special-petrol per kilometre!!!

for 200K i'd probably supercharge a Falcon GT for about $80K and spend the rest on tire bills lol

For 200 large I'll take the home grown Monaro (equivallent of the latest GTO) + pacemaker extractors
+ 3" twin exhaust with hi flow cats
+ cold air induction
+ blower (not real fussy on the type)
+ Coil over shockers lowered ever so slightly
+ 19" rims of currently un decided type.
+ serious brake upgrade
+ the remainder on a Mark Levinson sound system.

No body kit or spoilers,

Ferrari 360 Modena........oh wait, is that in the price range?

oh and if not, I'd get a top of the line lingenfelter Vette (0-60 1.97, 0-100 4.43) for about $150,000 at most, and I'd have a lot leftover. BTW Egg Nog, how fast is that Evo? I'm getting some videos right now! :D
