What do you think?
is it a render or a photograph.
Its a contest. . . .

I'm almost positive it's a photo, is this a contest or just a question?

edit post:

correction, i just looked closer at the top half of the car
(around the windows) and they look really fake, and the bright spot on
the right window looks pretty fake too.

(^ i might be wrong :p)

whole car over all looks like a photograph,
but i think im gonna stick with render.

im almost sure its a render cause the shadow is to perfect, plus look at the reflections on the front and rear they dont match the shadow that looks as if the only light source came from the top.... and if it did come from the top why are the wheel arches shadowed ?

my guess is that its a complexed picture that was made from who real photos, one with a good view of the serounding building in which the car came out badly or wasnt preasent and the second of the car in the building in good conditions or maybe the car was shot on a different location altogether

It's a render imo, look here: http://members.lycos.co.uk/xbart/audiproof.jpg
Also, the perspective seems not to match (the car and the photo-background), reflections on rear lights are way too strong and that central area of rims is too small, imposible to put 5 screws there, even if there's a cap covering them (compare with that picture: http://members.lycos.co.uk/xbart/audi2.jpg
BTW where did u get it from? Ask the guy who made it to give u the wireframe.

Yes it's a render.
done by ARTvps
Very impressive though. Normally with a HDRi render the resolution of the background is what gives the render away and the floor is never quite right.
But this is a great job.
Compare it with this image from the competition.
I'm impressed.

Why would you want the wire of the car?

I thought u don't know if it is a render or photo and want to find a proof. Also to see if he made it using nurbs or poly-modeling.

The carrera gt one doesn't look so impressive tho..
Take a look at the Enzo and C4:

Initially look me as a Photo; but there is someting who make me suspicious:
