No it's not, it's ROVER - Powertrain actually :)

You're confusing the K20 and K24, Honda K-series engines and the Rover ones !! and possibly that Rover used the D-series in the Acclaim and top end 200/400 cars.

aaah... no.. thats a 1.8 honda engine, they made the swap from the k-series engine to the integra engine, they'll also change to the S2000 and Accord v6, i think... that's waht the site is about...

ah right, my error.

i'd got fed up following the numerous posts of pointless links being posted so didnt' read the article till you pointed it to me.

Sorry :)

THAT is definately a Honda engine.
Why bother has to be the question !!!!!

Notice that having "over-powered" the car, he's now having to fit new brakes. So then the unspring weight will go and the handling suffer.
But I see one video is of "drag" racing a Lotus, what a waste :(

yeah really why bother, i would like to have an elise with the S2000 engine in it, but as i read in some other long gone thread, the K-series engines are really good engines, that could have easly been upgraded to a larger horse power without the problems that the S2000s or the current elise engine (toyota 1.8) have, that's at least the impression i got from a long article i read from a developer of the K-series engine :)
