MANY years ago I drove some colleagues who were over from Boston on the French autoroute from Grenoble to Geneva. We were all chatty until I got on the autoroute and then I noticed they'd gone VERY quiet. When I realised the converstation seemed unaturally 'stunted' I asked if everything was OK. It wasnt' for them, they were WELL out of their comfort zone ! It was many years back and yep pretty much none of them had been above 70 never mind over 100 ( mph ). I slowed down for them :D

Equally I've had one of my guys panicking driving in New York at 20mph :)

PS: 90s boring on motorways for me. I know the location of every speed camera so at least I lkeep the license clean !!!

Welcome to my mum's world :) She's nuts on her way to Canterbury, we memorised locations of speed traps/cameras, so she pushes the car to the edge of the performance envelope.
