Just thought I'd point out that there's no FWD 3000gt with 320hp. You must be thinking of the VR/4, which is AWD.

I'm a bigger fan of the stealth. It's basically the same, looks a lot better in my eyes, and when I've checked around for one, seems to be a lot cheaper to buy.

You're gonna get the same performance out of each car, but I would pick the Dodge because it looks cleaner, I'm not a fan of the 3000's side vents.

I think I might be a rarity, but I really like the looks of the Stealth's spoiler. I think it's totally original and classy.

I thought there were pretty much the same car, manufactured by Diamond Star Motors (the Chrysler-Mitsubishi Collaboration company), just like the Mitsu Eclipse, Plymouth Laser, and Eagle Talon were the same car, except for trim levels and minor body/badging changes.

I like more the Mitsubishi :)

Why? They are the same car, but the Dodge is easily found for less money.

Reasons, please.

You over-filled the oil reserve. After a while, it'll burn off some of the excess, and your oil pressure will drop.

is it low oil pressure or high?

You may want to drain some out...if it's low...that could be very bad, hopefully it's a bad filter or leaky gasket....if it's not, you've got some serious engine problems like a toasted block or some burnt bearings...

I find this comparison to be fairly retarded...they are almost identical...aside from headlights and roof coloration....but i'll stick with the mitsu because the dodge is just rebadged....not need to be shady dodge, build your own car

I like the mitsubishi better, it looks nicer to me, the stealth looks like a copy, besides the vr4 is all wheel drive 320 hp and probably faster than the stealth. I also like the taillights on the 3000 better

Hey...my first post.

If I recall correctly, the 3000 GT had a few more bells and whistles. Both had AWD and a ~300 bhp engine. And I believe the top-end models also both had 4-wheel steering. However, one of them (the Mitsubishi, I think) had active aerodynamics and active exhaust. Or was it the Stealth? Anyway, one of those two options was unavailable on one of those cars.

It was the Mitsubishi, it has the ActiveAereo, The exhaust and also the option of choosing something like "Racing or Normal" Shock absorbers.

3000GT (or GTO as it is called in New Zealand) for me. The Dodge looks too American and I really don't like the rims on that Dodge...

i think i like the mitsu better,i just like the looks more. as for performance and configuration, i like the rear wheel drive of the Dodge. i think i would buy the stealth instead of the 3000GT because it' cheaper. I also like the 3000GT more because it is Mitsubishis only true sports cars, whereas the Viper is Dodges sports car.

the specs from the 1st post and the pics don't match up.
the images are both 1994+ cars.
The stealth picture is either a base or the RT non turbo. I think its a 1996.
I can't tell from the pics if that 3000 is a turbo or not.

VR4(the TT 3000gt) vs the RT/TT
year for year the engines and transmissions are the same
1991-1993 300hp 5spd all wheel drive.
1994 + 320hp 6spd all wheel drive

IN 19-93 the only functionl differance is the active aero on the 3000gt.
in 95-96 the stealth omitted the all wheel steering and the eletronic suspension and a few other toys.
