this is the far more interesting article of the post. It clearly describes the power of the carmakers and the willing ear that they get from the republicans, the silly way EPA is establishing the mileage of a car, and above all the stupid reaction of the consumerists who are claiming that Americans pay 500$ more per year on fuel than they could have expected according to the EPA test results. This is all so naive it really makes you laugh. If this is representative for the USA society they still have a very long way to go.
