At least a little bit...

Last month I started at Universal Technical Institute in Exton, PA. It's an automotive tech school that works at a very fast pace. It's also an hour and a half drive each way from Easton. I've been doing the 430 in the damn morning commute every day so far and it's really drained me and my wallet.

Tomorrow I'm moving in to my new apartment in Pottstown. I won't have Internet right away, and might not for a while. I need to find a job, and then after that I'll see about adding cable internet to my TV package. If I can't swing both I might cancel the TV subscription and pick up Internet service.

In any event, I won't be on much at all for the forseeable future. Which might be for the best, since I won't spend 3-4 hours a day surfing the Vortex and here. http://www.vwvortex.com/zeroforum_graphics/screwy.gif But fret not. I shall return. And when I do, I will be an even more awesome version of myself. Complete with useful automotive knowledge and ninja-chop action.

Until a later date, rock on. http://bill.cs-servers.com/Index/Adam/Funny/headbang2.gif I leave you with a few of my favorite/most posted images.

Good luck with the course and the life changes.

Remember, the tech will have a library, you could always be doing "research" using UCP :)

I didn't expect this much of a response. :)

I'm home for the day. My apartment is bigger than I thought it would be, so I came to pick up some more stuff. Pottstown is the most screwed up town I've ever been in. It's worse than New Jersey. All the side streets are one way and there's a bike lane in the turn lane of the main streets.

Unfortunately, Matra, the school's computers don't have internet access for exactly that reason. Apparently a few kids got caught on a site they shouldn't have been and that ended it for everyone. Oh well, shit happens. There's a library a block away that I might see if they have free net. Otherwise I'll have to suffer.

Mustang- A tech school is basically a school that dedicates itself to one type of study. There's no Literature courses, no sciences beyond what's necessary. The courses are 6 hours a day for 3 weeks. Time is split between the classroom and the lab. And the important thing is that I'm actually interested in what I'm doing, so I pay attention.
