Not exactly sure what this is, but it started out swirling, then coming down like a tornado then just lost it and floated away...

It happened yesterday a few mintues before a HUGE lighting storm came and shook the house for about 2 hours. I managed to run out for a few seconds and get some pictures before the rain came.

By swirling do you mean rotating? it looks like it could be a wall cloud which sometimes leads to tornadoes

or it could just be scud, was it before or after the storm

it was rotating, and it was before the storm

really hard to say, the rotating makes me think it was a wall cloud and it looks like one but almost all tornadoes occur on the back edge of storms. There are some notable exceptions though like the Jarrel Texas F5

the last pic you posted could have a funnel cloud on the left, what time was it at?

You actually get rain down there? Is Tucson that different than Phoenix? I see greenery!

And snow! :D Once winter gets here i will show you with pictures.

Phoenix is always about 12 degree's hotter, plus we have mountains

Ah, that explains it. ;)
I was amazed at how much the state's geography changes. Going north from Phoenix around Sedona everything turns green. I love Arizona so much. It's a very, very beautiful state. :)
