Rules:

The proposed picture must be your own and not found on the net.
Only the photographs taken the last six months are accepted
Only one photograph per person and weekly contest allowed; you may not change your photograph once it has been entered.
There are several days to submit your photograph, a poll will be created after several days for people to vote on.
Your image must be a resolution of 800*600 or lower. If it is not, your picture will not be in the voting thread.
Each photographer cannot vote for him, they must vote for the others
The picture should get submitted with: the location or at what event, and the date and the type of camera.
Your picture must be attached to your message, using the normal ucp attachment system.pictures that are uploaded using third-party websites wont be included in the comp.
Only resizing and cropping is allowed.When any other modification is spotted, you will be excluded from the competition.



Voting thread will be on friday.I will still enter the competition myself.

D*mn, we had some good cloud formations here tonight.
But the clouds are about the only thing worth taking a picture of, unless big shopping centers are someone's thing. :D

EDIT: WOAH!
I thought those were clouds above the tree! :eek:

istanbul is cool because like every 2 blocks there is another mosk-the difference between Istanbul and places like Cairo is that in istanbul all mosks have minerets. if you look under the bridge youll see 2 vertical lines, those are the next mosk (in Turkey, production of a new mosk is started every 6 hours)

If you stayed like an extra 5-6 days you could have seen the Formula One Race in Istanbul. Noob! unfortunately, racing only matters to 2 and a half of my party of six so we were ruled out (at least i got to see Fernando Alonso and the rest of the Renault F1 team :p :cool: )

Sometimes i think the angle gives it extra life and character, capturing the moment in this case the elegance of the swans. They were all females swimming away from the male which was looking for a mate :p if you ever see a male swan showing off it is VERY bizzare!

Swans during mating season


i had serious doubts about entering my own swan picture this week :) it's a swan on a beautiful mountain lake.i will use it in the near future.i was sitting on a low wall, with my feet in the air, hanging over the edge,my dad holding my feet to take the pic of it.luckely i did not fell in :)

thx. it was in Zell am See.this is a popular destination for young people from througout europe.it was really busy there.there were quite a lot of people watching when i hung over the railing like that :)
