Hello, there is a transaxle I am interested on Ebay. Is it possible to tell if a tranny is four or five speed by looking at it?? Any help would be appreciated.

Short answer.. no.
Long answer.. Look for a part number and look it up somewhere to find details in it. You'll also end up finding its ratios and whatnot too that way. Have you asked the seller? Is it somewhere that you could go have a look at it and pass it through its gears?

First thing I did was ask the seller and he doens't know. He did give me a number. Thanks again for the help.
