It has rained and 70% chance of rain for race day. All the rubber that was laid down yesterday has been washed away...there's going to be more spins for sure.

This should be interesting to say the least, being a new track and a physically demanding one at that it was already going to sort the good from the bad. Might help some of Bridgestones tyre woes if theyre all on wets, or god forbid they need the monsoon spec tyres

Team orders by Renault already for strategy reasons. Looks like all is well for McLaren if the reliability is there.

MS never could race wheel to wheel, he totally turned in on Webber.

4 tyres! God damn it. And now we return to discusion about USA GP - my question is this: does the Michelin support the tyres only or the wheels along with rims?
Because all of these 4 tyres din't blow, they just fell of the rims. Maybe it was the rim fault in USA GP as it is today?
Anyhow, Williams or Michelin fault, it is rather a joke, I'm just glad that Webber and Heidfeld weren't hurt in these dangerous situations.

They say the tyre is rubbing part of the wing on Williams car, not a Michelin problem.

both cars? jesus, they sure screwed up. Someone at Williams will lose his very well paid job :D

Just one more reason why I don't think Williams are championship material anymore.

It was a report made to Steve Matchett during the race from one of his pit lane snoopers.

ah, ok, they probably saw the marks on the wing end plates from AFTER the tyre came off. The first one the outer bead had clearly released. THAT would make the tyre rub the end plate. understood :)

( one of the things I really liek abotu MotoGP is Randy Mamola does the pit-lane work and at least it's someone who knows abotu the engineering and the riding. ITV has some numpties some times :( )

What do you expect? I would do the same thing.

i dunno whats to blame ferrari or bridgstone, but ferrari is just off the pace this year. as much as i hate to say it i think schumacher needs to hang it up before he gets embarassed next year they way things are going :(

Well, Ferrari said over a month ago that they'd stopped doing any serious development and testing work on the current car, so it was always gonna be the case that they'd gradually drop further and further off the pace. However, it does mean that they've been concerntrating nearly all their efforts on NEXT year's car, so it means they might actually have a new car ready for the start of the season for once. It would be foolish to rule out Ferrari and Schumi coming back to form next year, I think they'll definitely be serious contenders. :)
