Looks pretty damn good if you ask me :) and with an RSX-S engine, I can't really complain about its performance.

I didn't take the pictures.

I like the back of it, ot sure about the front and side though. And the digital gages, not a fan of those, i like seeing the pin go on the analog ones.

Apparently that and the shift knob were copied from the S2000 (hopefully the handling too ;))

Just one question, are you sure it's the production model or is it the concept shown before?

The concept had better wheels / brakes (like almost every concept), black hood, etc.. This looks like the real deal.

That is the production... was just reading about it in a magazine today.

Honda have sold themselves to the devil. Welcome, everyone, to a re-badged 307 cc with a spoiler and different rims. So entirely original. Yay.

200HP baby, that's all you need to know ;)

I seriously don't know many... Hopefully it'll weight less than an RSX and will give a good run for its money to SRT-4's, Cobalts SS, etc. while at the same time offering a MUCH better interior and quality. If this car doesn't go over the 22K limit, it's going to own :D

Personally I like the Knight Rider style digital dash thing with the numbers going up really fast :D 300mph here we come! :D

Its interior might be better, but I still prefer the RSX-S for sure. The exterior of this Si just doesn't do it for me, and (hopefully) the RSX will still be faster :)

Looks really great. This may be the best Civic design yet.

The "iVTEC" sticker totally ruins the whole sleek feeling. Looks great nonetheless :)

Whole article on the new Si. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/FirstDrives/articleId=107050#7

Honda says it'll accelerate to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds

And the price is right. Not only is it a whole lot less than a membership to the Autobahn Country Club, it will be between $3,500 and $5,000 less than an RSX Type-S.

:)

The sedan is good shit. I wonder how much mpg it gets.

Don't they have a manual model?

The engine in the 2006 RSX Type-S will be rated at 201 hp at 7,800 rpm and 140 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm.

Both cars also use a version of the same six-speed manual transmission, which is the only gearbox offered in the Si.

The EPA rates it at 22 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, and it drinks premium.
That's too low for me but I'm sure none of you will mind.

The Si comes with a 6 speed manual

I heard the 2006 Civic Si weighs around 2900 pounds. If that's true, JESUS that's f---ing heavy. Please stop adding so much god damn weight to your cars, Honda! So far I think I'd still take my 1992 Civic Si over the next gen.

I hope the new CRX doesn't weigh like 2700 pounds. :(
