oooh, nice comeback - NOT :)

Isn't the thread about cars ? Not really the corporate hq of the company is of any point is it ??

Besides, nobody keeps control for ever. Germans have taken over Chrysler. Toyota probably lining up to either buy up or close down one of the rest the way their sales are going. BUT that has little to do with DESIGN. Hell Ford America doesnt' even sell it's best designs IN America !!!!!!!

From the old comes the new. The american car companies are going retro in hopes to boost sales and well... its working. They have plenty of newer designs BASED on older cars, unfortunatley nothing completely new yet but they're working on it. They may have lost touch and definetly long ago, but now that they've found out retro styling is what the public wants, they have something to work off of to make newer designs.

Hey how come Americas cars have such good value for the money? Its because everyone else buys the brands. We buy the numbers.

Hey how come Americas cars have such good value for the money? Its because everyone else buys the brands. We buy the numbers.
It's mainly to do with pricing in the market.
Over here US cars are over-priced :)

Europe is averaging 1.5 million new car sales per month according July 2005 report
US is predicting 18 million for this year, which comes out at ...... 1.5 per month

So actually Europe and the US buy about the SAME number of cars :) oops :D
