If it is yours, however, I have to commend you for putting the money towards performance, not ricing. :)

Smeg Nog! Its not completley unbelievable but the Skyline is the fake ownership choice of fanboys all around the globe.

Edit : Oh, and my girlfriend says she loves the colour and likes the contrast the wheels make

I was going to buy a Classic Mustang but a quick search on EBay USA showed me all the big block cars were out of my price range. A 390 would have done!. I cannot egg nog the new car till Oct the 2nd ETA? but you will see with a quick search my race GTR has already passed :)

I take it your getting it imported from Japan then. Its one of the cleanest ones ive seen .. good work. And double good work for making my missus compliment a car :)

Yes the problem with a lot of the GTRs is that they are damaged repaired cars. A dealer would have to charge 10K to make a profit on this car, but with EBay offering a lot of worn out examples for less you would be a long time selling it. I will keep this car for shows and use the Black car for track and road.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/374820

Not that unbelievable. Theres actually somebody around here with a 95' Nissan Skyline GTS. I've only seen it a few times at the local car wash and Speed Fetish which is where he gets most of his work done on his car. I do have a pic of it though. :)

that R33 looks nice and I find it hard to believe that this car is cheaper than a mustang.

I live in Canada too, and yeah, older 'stangs are dirt cheap. But he lives in the UK, where american cars and their V8's drink far too much gas (for the average Brit can afford), even compared to a Turbo charged Japanese GT.

Does that include 69 Mach 1s and 350/500Shelbys can feel a bit of horse trading going on.

No, Mach 1's, Shelby's and Boss' (and the other various classic "high performance" mustangs from the 60's) cost a ton no matter where you buy them. I'm talking about older 80's/early 90's foxbody 5.0's, the '94 GT and up, and the really REALLY crappy Mustangs made from the early 70's through to about... well, now with the current version that FINALLY isn't a total pile. No offense to Mustang owners, but the only ponies that are great, much less any good at all are the originals and their variations.

Note: an original "regular" mustang in fair to good condition ARE relatively cheap.

I wouldn't remember how many Skylines i've seen today, New Zealand is loaded with them! Most people wouldn't look twice at a Skyline unless it was modified or a GTR model.

That why I like the R32GTR without the add on wings etc it looks like any other saloon car. Supra owners call them Taxis, I know of One Supra in the UK faster than my car and that is a track car only.Mine gets driven to work. :)

No it will stay as it is, not sure how much has been done to the engine at the moment. I think with too much power drivability suffers, they are not so reliable after 500bhp.

I think Skylines look better in black than red
but the red with black rims does make it look good
