F1 is my staple diet, but I also love the DTM. The new GP2 series is always good value entertainment too, not always the classiest of racing but always plenty of incident! :D

I'm also looking forward to the new A1GP series, the concept has great potential. :)

Personally I think it's "naff" :(

So-so cars, nothign better than F3000, marginally better than GP2 but will suffer because of no innovation other than by the organisers.

It's open-wheeled NASCAR :D

PS: Just checked... One good thign is tickets for race day are ONLY £35. Bad news ? They're available at reduced price for Brands of £29 - struggling to setll perhaps ???

I think it's an interesting idea, what with the same cars, same tyres, same engines. Everything depends on the driver and to some extent team strategy. Maybe if the cars were closer to F1 levels it'd be more appealing to you! :p

no, it's the variety of engineering soltuiosn by different teams within a set of regulations.

All the same car measn every car is close in whre it is best. Hence little chance of different lines, different braking distances, different torque curves.
There will be minor differences from setups but nothign large enough to bring a different tack to the races.

Check out MotoGP and the differences are clear or WSB.

It's funny how our geographical location defines our habits. I'm sure if I was US based (which I'm not) I wouldn't watch F1 (which I do) and I would bash them for what happened at Indy (I do it now anyway :) )

It seems that we are not as free and open minded as we would like to believe (Me first and foremost)

hardly anything is good racing anymore, its all about strategy and screwed up regulations, i'm switching to motorbikes.

Sadly Australia doesn't seem to have a set coverage for anything other than the F1 (public television) and to a certain extent MotoGP (pay TV), which I both enjoy when it's on. Other than that there's the V8s, which I find pointless with the exception of some of the best crashes in any race :p. I prefer MotoGP over F1 at the moment, three different races in one, with more exciting racing involved, although I think I'll always watch F1 anyways. Oh and WRC gets covered every now and then too, but I can't remember where and when :p.

I watch any motorsport that happens to be on if I flick on the TV at the right moment. Motorcycling, rallying, touring cars, Formula Ford, etc. etc. I'm not picky! :D

I TRY to watch Le Mans or F1, any race any track, doesn't matter. But I somehow have not managed to be around during ANY ALMS race this season so far!!! It's starting to be annoying....

Same here, but I'm not going to care much over the next 10 races. Gordon sucked too much to make the chase this year. Well, Gordon didn't, Loomis/crew did.
