Wow.

The detail on that is absolutely stunning! I can't wait to see the finished product... Absolutely amazing, as usual.

Yes Cars - A set of very fine detail brushes.

Thanks Digitor - just wait until I get to the telemetry and radio control systems. That's when the detail-o'meter gets pegged! ;)

Here are some pictures of the last Ferrari F1 car that I did...

If you like these shots, there are few hundred more of this replica (Ferrari 643) at http://www.collectionatcarriagehouse.com/Journal_643/Header643.htm

Rev - I'm flattered by the request, but I'm backed up with model build projects for about the next 3 years!

Thank you Rock. I do enjoy building models. After years of building classics, I feel like I've discovered a whole new world with these fantastic F1 cars.

How long does it take u to build the model and how long does it take to build. Now only if u could get that engine to work and the turbo to work also youd be loaded.

simply stunning... I would love to see some hi-res, if you're willing to share... also, what scale are these? seems to be FAR too much detail for a standard 1:24th scale...

Yes - they are all 1:8 scale.

Rev - the Ferrari 643 that I just finished took about 10 months. I expect this 126C2 to take a little less time since I don't have to do any carbon fiber decal work (the body is formed out of real carbon fiber). Doing the second engine will add 2-3 months to the project.

The scratch-built 1932 Rolls-Royce that I completed before I started doing F1 cars required 1600 hours over two years. That was the longest build project I've ever worked on. On average, my projects usually run 10-12 months from start to finish.
