Tehy have similar lines but different dimensions. This one was never sold as a Rekord. In fact, it was almost not sold. Not a very successful model at the time...

And what about the Opel Monza, was it based on the Senator or on its smaller brother the Rekord/Omega
The Monza can be seen in the 3 picture behind the white senator

The Monza can be seen in the 3 picture behind the white senatorI don't know for sure, looks like it's based on Rekord chassis, but that's just a guess.
