Why just not use an M3 instead of a 320csi?
Also it looks soft in the front and back, nothing like the straight lines in the M3

 wat an amazing car, I really think that the new 3 series is the best design of Bangle so far, looks cool, and with all those racing-accesories even better

Touring cars had a 2.0 engine limit slapped on them in the early 1990's. This was to make the playing field a little more level- at one time, Jag Mk IIs, Mustangs and Minis were on... at the same time.

And now with Seat's arch rival, BMW.

By the way can some mod delete the "2006" from the thread title?

Thank you.

Is it a diesel 2 liter?

Nice little car. I do like the larger headlights as compared to the M3 sedan.

There's no diesel version of the racing E90, AFAIK. There was one of the E46 which won outright the 24h of Nurburgring. And they presented a 120d (http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum/matt-s-hi-res-hide-out/36210-bmw-e87-race-car.html) in 2006, but so far nothing has come out of it.

I see. The diesel idea came into my head when I watched the Top Gear episode. That was a nice one.

Talking about BMWs, what ever happened to the Z4 coupe Touring Car? I've seen official pictures a while back, but all that publicity seemed to have died down. On the other hand, I don't really follow touring cars.

The Z4 is actually an endurance racer and it has been raced. I'll post some pics later.
