Nissan Murano, your opinion?

when i first saw the nissan murano..i thought it was ok
the grill was always a bit odd to me

but today, i saw one in the flesh
its ugly man.
one of the most ugly things ever

Sometimes things are better kept short and sweet :D

We got them a long time ago here. I'm not sure if Nissan couls do anything "better" seeing as their current designing houses are bringing all kinds of ideas and there's really no way to tell if something nicer would come out. But it does have plenty of power.

I don't like it. It is a very bland design that the eye just slips over onto the next thing in view.

It's better looking than most of the boxy SUVs out there. I'm not into SUVs, so I wouldn't get one, but for those that do like em', they could do worse. :)

i like suvs a lot...but the murano is ugly to me! i will probly warm up 2 them though, almost definately..i used to be undecided wheather the new bmw M5 is ugly or not, now im in love with them, yesterday the cars guide did a feature on them! i read about it at the melbourne show..although none of you are from aus let alone victoria...
but yes i spose i will like it when ive seen more than one

I Find the frontal styling does well to try and make it seem imposing and wide, while the side add's to the percieved Femininity of the car's intended market.

In Short, It's pretty, but mean looking at the front :p

On a Side note, whats with the obsession recently with Designed shoulder-boots ETC. It's like Volvo Has a Lot to answer for or something.....

The index DOES go past M now, and will continue up to Z as any good index should, but I only started about a week ago and can't be expected to complete over 1500 threads in less then a week including updates. Nissan is now up, and you can find your pictures there.

The Murano, whilst not the prettiest of vehicles, IMO is indeed good looking compared to some of the other crap I've seen.

I drove one at work recently. I LOVE the interior, it's very well done indeed. Good power, too. It's one of the few... aw, who am I joking? The only SUV I even remotely like.

Good on him for hating them. To be perfectly honest the only thing SUVs ever should've been used for in the first place is off roading and towing boats, etc. I like them alot for those purposes and those purposes alone. And it is doubtful that the Murano, FX45, or any of these fashion accesory SUV's that the market is full off will ever do any of those tasks. For those reasons I hate it. Someone who drives a SUV because they can't bear the absolute disgust and shame (:rolleyes: ) of driving a minivan should be ashamed of themselves. They really need to get over themselves.

At least it looks interesting and original, unlike other SUVs, like the new Toyota Rav4. Its shape makes it look more 'car-like', instead of big and bulky.
