I made this one hanging over the edge of this "double curved" dam. Incredible skill to build it over there !!! the road up was one lane, narrow and with many kilometre long tunnels, and a lot of hairpin turns.Very nice place it was over there. This dam is actually part of a larger set of dams in the area for electricity.the snow in the background is a glacier.

the lense had gotten some sweat or something on it this summer.I only noticed till one of the last days in austria.i CAN photoshop it away, however,i am not allowed to by myself ;)the blur is in this pic in the upper left corner.

It seems like all of your general comp pictures involve, 'balancing on a 2'inch rock over a 500 foot cliff, or being held by the feet over a ferocious alligator', etc.

perhaps an atempt to steal votes for whats not in the picture?:)

With snow, of course.

i always take a lot of time to take a picture.sometimes up to 10 minutes.I always try to get the best angle. If that involves doing stuff like that, well i find it worth it. Many of my photo's are made by just bending down and/or leaning somewhere or whatever.a good example is this picture.I have made it just looking out of the window in our appartement in austria, this summer. I find it a awesome shot to be honest. I am quite sure this will be entered in the comp in the future;).However the most exotic and nicest photos take a little bit more effort. When i walk around a nice place, i always look out for nice photo oppurtunities.

In this case, my mom was pretty mad at me. She did not really like the idea of her son hanging over a very high dam....:)
