OK, so i thought, there's plenty of threads that are like "Best european supercar" or "Best european car", but everyone has the same sorta view on this, and the same cars come up over and over, want i want to know is...

What the car you REALLY hate?

What car would make you happy if it was stricken from the face of the earth?

What car would you throw in room 101?

Mine are probably:

Toyota Yaris Verso; because it has the ugliest rear end i have ever seen, it is a car without an ass. :p

Fiat multipla; You can't love a car with two heads, it depersonalises it. :D

Japan:Skyline, Why? Only the 2.5 Billion Fanboys. Honorable Mention goes to the RX-8 for same reasons.
America:Quite a few mistakes, but I won't pick on one in particular, so.... I'll attack trends. Rice is the big winner here, Cars decked out in stickers, wings, excessively large, horrible sounding exhaust systems, badges, and eurolites. The plage came with Japanese makes, but spreads to everything. The world would be a much better place if the Fast and Furious series was never released. Also, Rims being the first purchase. So many cars I see running around where I live have Rims. Dirty, slow, wrecked, and primered cars driving around, with rims that have 4X the value of the vehicle. Not joking. Honorable Mention: Body Cladding. I think the Element wouldn't be ugly if it didn't have cladding.... someone help me and photoshop the cladding away from an element picture (http://images.usatoday.com/money/gallery/2002-ny-auto/1-element.jpg).
Honorable Mention of an Honorable Mention:2WD SUVs. No elaboration needed.
Europe:The Enzo. It's not a pretty car, but since It's a road-version F1 car, that's understandable... what kills me is fanboys.
Honorable Mention:McLaren F1... Fanboys again.

How do u own a toyota yaris? i thought they were only sold in south america... My girlfriend lives in venezuela and she has one, the car is ok, i would say toyota makes great cars, without doubt that car will last a long time, but the car has some sucky tires, they look like my spare tire if u have stock tires u should get some bigger ones cuz u can loose control of the car when it rains very easily (happened to me and going very slow). But it is a good car.

The absolute worst vehicle I have personally ever driven was a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport that was a rental when I was in Dallas a couple years ago. Not only was this big lunchbox underpowered, driving it down the city streets gave me a good idea what it must be like to pilot a frieghter through the Panama Canal, it steered like a freighter, except the body roll when turning was actually suggestive of a sinking frieghter. In Dallas one does a lot of U-turns, which were only possible in this thing if you had at least 4 lanes to work with. Add to that a transmission that, while punching the gas to merge onto a busy freeway, actually took nearly a full second to downshift and nearly got me rear-ended.

Grade-A piece of crap.

Please, don't let me drive in a Fiat... I get panic attacks cause I think the car is gonna lose some important parts....like the gearbox...AAAHhh!!! WOAH yeh i totally agree, The toyota Yaris is a nice car, im talking about the Yaris Verso, its a different model, same engine spec (roughly) but ugly as hell

They sell Yaris's throughout the EU I think, here's a pic of the verso, i have to put up with that EVERY day...

Anyway.... the worst car (my opinnion) would be: Ford Edsel.... its ugly and its useless...

In a Magasine i've read they described it:

1: It looks like a Mercury Sucking on a lemon.
2: It corners like Queen Mary.
3: All show, no go.
4: Biggest economical Failure in car history.

I think it decribes it very well! ;)

I notice no mention of the SMART car here? I really have no opinion of them, negative or positive, as I class them as a seperate breed to the common car, but most of my friends seem to show a strong aversion to them. But nothing from you people?

BMW just introduced it so that they could make vast amounts of money because SUVs are very popular. BMW shouldn't be making SUVs and neither should Porsche. I hate these cars. If you want a car to go off road in, buy a Landrover. If you want a car to drive on the road in, by a Ford Mondeo or something.

This is a very difficult decision to make cos there are sooooo many choices:

NISSAN MICRA (AARGH!)
Any Kia, Daihatzu, Ssangyong, mitzubishi, Izuzu, Suzuki (japanese cars really)
Honda Civic and Jazz
Rover Metro (Ugh)
Lada
Skoda (Even the new ones!)
Vauxhalls (Astra, Corsa, Vectra, ZAFIRA!!!)

Generally anything driven by coffin dodgers. They are so slow and they all drive the same cars, so unoriginal. Nissan micra has to be the biggest contender though, it is the most horrendously ugly car and it is the death bed of so many old people.

There are surely more cars to add to the list but i cant really think of any at the moment.

Toyotas - i dont really like them, not the worst cars though.

Excuse the Aussie names for some of these. From Aus These four have to be in the top ten worst cars of Australia.
Au Falcon: woops aparently a marketing flop no consumer research, just ugly.
Mondeo: Not Terribly attractive.
Ka: Whos idea was this!

Here's my opinion-if you don't like it, tough.

I think the world would be better off wihtout the Honda Civic. There are just too many of them!! I live on a block with about 10 houses, 4 of which own Civics. I know they are cheap, efficient cars, but there are just too many of them to enjoy.

I tend to like those cars you don't like-kind of witty little fun cars-like the Skoda Roomster.

The Vega -- no doubt about it. Aluminum engine that warped within 10000 miles to the point of self-destruction. Body that rusted if you just looked at it. Handled like a pig. Put together with chewing gum and baling wire. I had two of them -- the first was a wedding present. I don't know what I did that made that person hate me so much... :)

Well considering that they were never built for it, it's nearly impossible to give them torque, so I've heard from most Honda guys. Most I could suggest is a Crower 2.2l stroker kit for the b18 1.8l and a roots-type supercharger, but I honestly think there's little to be done...I'm no expert on Hondas and Acuras though so it might be worth it to ask around as a Honda/Acura-specific forum.

The current Renault Scenic 4wd has a good claim to this title.

Start with a body that won’t win any beauty contests and stick some ugly plastic guards on it to round out the visuals.

Then have a brain failure when you are meant to be designing the transmission. This leads to the possibility that if it gets as far as off road - this being difficult due to inefficiencies in the front diff causing it to almost stop due to lack of power when you try and turn a corner – then the gearbox has a high risk of total failure. This is due to the ABS firing if wheel spin occurs and the torque that is stopped being released by the diff exiting through the side of the transfer housing.

My Mustangs are all over 30 years old and still serve as daily drivers. Sorry, if that's low quality, then I'd absolutely love to see high quality.

You gotta remember though the difference in our selection and their selection of Fords. We only make the Falcon and the Territory but yeah, most would say theyre better than a Taurus/Crown Vic and the Freestyle. We also get the Eurp Focus and Escape, the US makes their own of theirs i believe...

I FULLY AGREE. Buy a Defender, if you want to go offroad. For a cheaper one, buy a Lada Niva, but with a net on the back to recollect the lost pieces.
But if you have to go on roads, buy a road car.

If it has to be european, I can't stand BMW 2002's. Or BMW's image. Although, the 2002's are a hoot to drive, I admit. But of all the cars of all time, I'd have to go with the Scion box thing. Ugly, slow, and really not that big even with efficient design. Honorable mention goes to the Cimarron by Cadillac, I hate that car.

I agree pontiac had some great years. The 67 Firebird was a very amazing car. It was designed after the 67 camaro! :)

We have an Eclipse in my hometown that actually looks a lot like that: nuclear snot green with a recockulously big spoiler (it's seriously taller than the roof of the car) and some ground effects. Has a big fartcan muffler whose tip looks like it's a chromed Folgers can he welded on to make the car look oh-so-fast, too.
